In Trojena, the region of Neom's snow-capped mountains that will house the first outdoor ski resort in the Gulf, the first W Hotel in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to open.
The megacity announced on Monday that it has reached an agreement with Marriott International to launch a W Hotel and a JW Marriott property in Trojena.
The W Hotel will be situated in Lake Village, a place that features marketplaces, dining options, and entertainment venues along with a 2.8-kilometer-long artificial lake and a forest. The hotel will contain 236 guest rooms, including 47 suites, with views of the lake and the mountains.
There will be four additional dining establishments, as well as signature brand spaces such Living Room, Wet Deck, W Lounge, and Away Spa.
The JW Marriott Hotel in Trojena will be located in The Bow, which is referred to be a "futuristic water world" or a building submerged in a lake in a statement. 500 guestrooms and suites, five dining options, a fitness center, a kids' club, a spa, and swimming pools are all included in the price of the premium hotel.
Trojena is a neighborhood of the $500 billion megacity Neom in Tabuk, northwest Saudi Arabia, which is situated in the country's tallest mountain range. It will host the Asian Winter Games in 2029 and is being developed as a year-round adventure sports destination with activities like skiing, water sports, hiking, and mountain biking.
